Hon Chris Law MP

Chris Law MP has been the Member of Parliament for the constituency of Dundee West since his election in the 2015 General Election. He ha since been re-elected in 2017 and 2019.

Chris is the SNP’s Westminster International Development and Climate Justice Spokesperson, and sits on the International Development Select Committee. From 2015-2017 he sat on the Scottish Affairs Select Committee. He chairs the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Guantanamo Bay and co-chairs the APPG’s for Tibet and Video Games. He is also a member of the APPG’s for Beer, Catalonia, Digital Economy, End of Life, Maldives, Motorcycles, Multiple Sclerosis, Polar Regions, Regional Airports, Scotch Whisky and Wines & Spirits.

Prior to his election, Chris Law ran the Spirit of Independence Campaign with his Green Goddess Fire Engine. He previously studied as a French Chef, and graduated with a degree in Cultural and Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews. He has previously run his own businesses, including motorbike tours of the Himalayas and as a mortgage adviser in Dundee.
